Problem first started with freezer normal but fridge warm. Popped inside panel and coil was a completely frozen block of ice preventing air flow. Defrosted most of coil with hair drier.
After 60 hours unit does not cool to operating range and rest of ice remaining on coil has melted off. Current condition below:
Fridge 11-15 Cel. Freezer 0 Cel. Compressor warm and vibrating. Heater coil approx 35 Ohms across leads. Turned defrost timer until it clicked, waited 10 minutes and no sizzle noise. Did not test thermostat as freezer barely frozen. Unit sounds like it is running for a normal amount of time.
Suggestions?

If all the fans are running and the compressor is making the condenser coils warm, for some reason, your compressor has failed. To verify, you will need an amprobe and gauges.

I re-checked the evaporator and only part of it is frosting over. Would this mean a blockage in the system?
Also, what is an Amprobe? Do you mean Amprobe, the manufacturer of DMM's?

You can get an amprobe (clamp on ac current measuring meter) at Lowes, or call this repair site. I would re-check the freezer temperature, partial frost may become normal after a period of time.
