Water from the ice maker drips down into the ice bin so that every morning we must pull out the ice bin and break up a large block of ice, because ice cubes have frozen together. If we forget to break up the ice in the morning, the ice bin becomes frozen to the ice maker, making it difficult to pull out the ice bin.
What could be the cause? Everything else works fine. Do I need to replace the ice maker? How much is that, and can an average citizen with no refrigerator experience replace it?
Thanks, John
