Water in ice maker keeps running
Model Number: frs26f4cw1 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
My ice maker tried to fill up with water but then the water never shut off. I had to turn the water supply off to the fridge. A couple of the ice stripper teeth are busted off as well. Don't know how, they just came out of the door one day with ice. I unplugged the icemaker from the fridge and plugged it back in thinking I could reboot it so to speak like a computer but it kept making the noise like it was asking for water so I unplugged it again. Do I need a whole new icemaker or is it a different problem. At the very least I know I need a new ice stripper.

My advice is to replace the whole icemaker because sounds like it’s sticking in the fill cycle. Icemaker Repair Guide
