I have a Kirkland refrigerator by Whirlpool. We bought it here in Kailua Kona, Hi, about 5 years ago. It is only turned on a couple times a year for about a month at a time. It has always fired up and got cold overnight. However, this time it has not. The fan motors come on as does the inside light. But the compressor does not come on and the frig does not get cold.

I trust this is a switch of some kind that has corroded or gone bad. Or at least that is what I hope.

Any clue?
