Ihave a 2000 Kenmore refrigerator, model # 70204990. The ice maker has never been connected to a water line. I do not want to connect it to a water line. HOWEVER, the ice maker continues to turn itself on and off throughout the day. I am sure this is wasting electricity. How do I disconnect the ice maker? Thank you, Phyllis.
