Default Removing Light Guard from Refrigerator
Model Number: PS123NGMA BB   Brand: GE   Age: 1 - 5 years

I have a GE Profile Arctica refrigerator that is approximately 4 years old. One of my kiddos knocked over a bottle of soy sauce which ran down the back inside of the refrigerator and now covers the back side of the lower light cover. I can't get it removed because the temperature control knob for the refrigerator runs through the cover and I cannot determine how to get it to release. Any ideas on how to get the temperature control knob to release without it breaking so I can clean up the mess?

Thanks
