I have a Maytag MBFKEW. The freezer is fine. The temp in the refrigerator increased to 50-55. I found heavy frost buildup in the coil area of the freezer. I did a forced defrost mode and the refrigerator returned to normal 40 temp. Everything worked fine for about 8-10 days when I discovered the temp in the refrigerator was again at 50-55. Once more I performed a forced defrost function and the temp returned to 40. It's been 3 days now and the temp in the refrigerator is still at 40 but I have a nagging feeling that the problem is going to return. Could the problem be a faulty control board? Any comments and/or suggestions would be appreciated.
