I purchased a new water valve for the ice maker part number 67003753, hooked it up and now there is no water on the outlet.
the instructions say to remove "spring insert and coupler nut from outlet tube at the valve, which goes to ice maker and discard". I do not understand what is being asked here, what is this they want me to discard and by the way, I have checked all other "things" i.e. water pressure etc.. Before I replaced the valve the problem was that there was too much water flow, the ice maker would make ice but it would not stop the water flow and I would have an ice cycle from the maker to the ice tray and the tray would have a sheet of ice at the bottom, is there something else I need. what do I do now.
