Need a lot more info.

What is running if anything?
Is it making a clicking noise?
Is the freezer cooling at all or is it warm?

Here are a couple good links with basic info which should help you troubleshoot this problem.

the refrigerator has been working fine until about a month ago. then i started noticing it wasn't cooling as well as it use to. its ability to cool has steadily decreased ever since. it hasn't made any noise. as for the freezer, i have the setting on 9 and i noticed today that it was starting to look as if the ice had been melting.

Look to see if there is excessive frost on the bottom half of the back cover inside the freezer. If so you have a defrost problem and if not it will help us figure out your problem. Refrigerator Not Cooling Repair Guide see defrost problem. Also make sure both the fans are running.
