I have a GE side by side model number PSS27SGMDBS that is just being cantankerous. While it dispenses water and ice cubes, it does not dispense crushed ice as crushed ice, only as regular whole ice cubes. When I press the corresponding button on the control panel, the LED does light above the proper pad, be it water, crushed or whole cubes. However we only get whole cubes whether set to cubes or crushed. What is and how does the mechanism work to crush the ice cubes?
