GE French Door Refrig. purchased in Oct 2009 along with 4 yr extended warranty. Unit stopped making ice in late May 2011.

4 service calls beginning on Jun 7 - ice maker replace twice, computer board replaced twice, control panel (front display) replaced once and another unknown part replaced once. Last service was on Aug 2 to replace the ice maker, computer board, control panel, and unknown part.

Unit does not work properly. Thru the display panel, I have freezer temp set to -4 and frig temp set to 38. Actual temps (per thermometer placed in both freezer, ice maker, and frig) are freezer 29 deg, ice maker 31 degree, frig 41 degree. No ice made in last 5 days.

I am asking for the unit to be replaced under the extended warranty as it does not appear to be fixable but am getting the runaround.

Any help appreciated.
