The evaporator fan in my freezer makes a windy, whistling noise, punctuated by a lower-pitched "snoring sound" that lasts for a second or two, stops for a few seconds and then repeats. Temperatures are normal for both freezer and fridge. The fridge does seems to run a lot. The fan makes these noises whenever it's running. Any thoughts?

One thing that will cause noise from the fan is if the evaporator coils it pulls air across is iced up. The ice can also build up around the fan. If the fan is wearing out it can make different noises.
