Model Number: GSS22KGPACC Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
The refrig side was warm so I checked the freezer compartment. After removing the back panel inside the freezer I discovered the coils were a solid block of ice. I checked the air flow between the two compartments, the resistence of the temperture sensors and the defrost heater. Although the resistences seems good, I still replaced the defrost heater. After about 3 weeks I had the same problem again.
Discussing this with a coworker, he had a similar issue and ordered the mainboard for his GE frig, part number WR49X10147. Since this still did not fix his issue, he offered me the mainboard for my frig. Does anyone know if this part will work in my GE frig or have any other suggestions? Thanks.
