Brand: Magic Chef   Age: 5 - 10 years   
Just stopped cooling! Empty now and turned off. Turned back on started running then stopped running all togeather. Just the light comes on.

Always post a model number... When you say it started 'running', what started running? The compressor, fan motor(s)??? Remove the back cover to observe compressor/condenser fan motor operation.. Post back with more info for help with this problem...
