Model FRS26LF7DS2 side-by-side. Cooling stopped suddenly. Pulled out unit. Compressor is humming like its running (stops with control is turned to 0 and starts again with control turned up), condensor fan is running, coils look clean. Compressor is warm to the touch, but not hot. Unplugged and replugged - no change.

Opened the panel on the back wall of the freezer and the fan in the middle of the freezer is not blowing. Lower back wall is cold and cold air is coming through the bottom vent (convection).

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for FRIGIDAIRE FRS26LF7DS2 Frigidaire/refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.com

Yes it does sound like the evaporator fan is toast.
Check for 120 volts at it's connection. If the voltage is there then replace the fan.

Also take a look at the evaporator coils after the unit has run for a couple hours they should have a fairly even coating of frost.
