I am trying to replace the WR30X1009 icemaker in my HotPoint side-by-side refrigerator. The replacment icemaker I got WR30X10093 has a rectangular plug instead of a round one like the original. How can I fix that? Can I put the power cord from the original onto the replacement?

Ready, fire, aim! After I wrote the above, I decided to look into the parts bag that came with the icemaker and found a 6-7" adapter cable that has the round plug. I missed it before because I was looking for an adapter plug and neither is mentioned in the instructions. The adapter cable may make installation interesting because it makes the whole power cable longer will need to be twisted to have the round plug pointed the right way.
