Stopped making ice in June. I replaced the Icemaker. Fixed !!! Making ice great for 5 weeks.Just stopped again.and now no water from dispensor either.
Now I replaced the water valve and the water line to icemaker. Started making ice slow but not working properly.
I checked the water line to see if its crimped & it is not!
I have the Feezer temp set on 7 out of 9.
Any Help???

What happens with the dispenser lights when you depress the water dispenser lever?

How old is the water filter?

What is the exact temperature in the freezer?

Water filter replaced in December 2010.
But i took it out & placed the by-pass in & still no water.

I have 3 choices only-
Crushed ice -Reg Ice cubes -Water

Lite is green for whatever is selected. Stays green when I depress for water.

The ice maker needs about 0°F temperature. So, 10°F will definitely slow down ice production. You have to investigate why it's so warm in the freezer.

It might be two separate problems. The temperature in the freezer is more important because of food inside.

Make sure the condenser coils are clean and the rear cover is in place.

Remove the rear panel inside the freezer and check how the evaporator coils are covered with snow/frost. Normally it suppose to be about 100% covered with thin snow. Post the results.
