Is part # AP178365 the right replacement icemaker for this fridge?

Yes, it is. AP178365 is the original Amana icemaker that fits most Amana made refrigerators. You will need to re-use the old harness (unplug from the old icemaker) and the cover. All in all, a every simple change out. Let us know if you have other questions.

Yes it is the right part. I figured out how to remove the old fill cup I think is what it is called, however the information that showed me that says to make sure to realign D coupling with model cam. I am not sure what they are talking about. Do you know? I am looking at ApplianceAid.com. Let me know if you can help.
