Whirlpool side by side not holding temp
Model Number: ED5JHGXRQ00 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
The refrigerator side on my Whirlpool ED5JHGXRQ00 side by side periodically has trouble chilling to proper range. Freezer's very cold. At the same time, the vent channel that runs along the upper left of the refridge side ices up. If I remove the ice, like with a hair dryer, the temp regulation improves for several days to a week.
Is this related: at the same time, the freezer side collects ice on the bottom, appears to be forming from water coming from back of compartment. That eventually causes water to flow and drip through the door onto the floor. Thanks for any thoughts. Ads By Google Related Models
