Recently fixed a thermister issue two months ago sucessfully.
Now I have a icemaker issue. Same refr though.
Icemaker seems to have water spilling from it onto the rails that hold the door and basket units. The slide on the LEFT below the icemaker is the only one affected with this incident.
It IS making ice, but I feel ice is 'slightly' smaller than before. I do no think the previous repair is part of this as that was two months ago, and unit has worked 'perfectly' since then.
Icemaker issue on popped up 2-3 days ago. If you do not open, freezer (bottom freezer) unit, enough ice will form on the runner, that it almost freezes the door shut. Must pull door partially open, then seesaw it in and out to break the accumulation of ice, then close it up and process repeats.
Does the complete icemaker need replacing, or a small control part which controls water flow? Has the ice nugget tray become oxidized and not able to hold amount of water being fed to it, thus the excess is spilling over?
Your help is appreciated.
