We just got a GE Profile Arctica refrigerator from family. I'm not sure how old it is or what the model # is. It's not a side by side though, it has the freezer on top. Last night I closed the door & we heard the "water noise". I looked in back & the bottom was filled with water. I saw a 1/2-3/4 in clear tube that it seemed to be coming from. The clear tube is not connected to anything & looks like it may have been ripped or crudely cut. What is that tube for? What is it suppose to be hooked up to? And how can I fix this?

Thank You,

John Fiedler
