A month ago I replaced the adaptive defrost control board because the refrigerator was not holding temperature due to the freezer coils being frozen. The temperatures in the freezer and refrigerator have been very consistent for over a month.

The problem is that the freezer door seals are very hot to the touch. I have already cleaned the compressor coils. The compressor is also very hot. I have placed a house fan behind the unit to help cool. The house fan seems to help.

I suspect the new part is not operating correctly?

Please advise!

Thank you,
Sean
