Rich i think i might of been sent the wrong board.

That is the factory service part. A re-designed board, should be more reliable.

the new board looks totally different.The old board has 6
connections and the new board has 7? The instructions are
pretty faded but primarily say to plug in as same as old?

Yes, hard to plug it in wrong as wires will not reach. You must make sure each plug goes in the right connector, seven pin to seven pin, etc. You can always take a picture of it before swapping.This is a one size fits all models of fridges.

rich see attached pics of old board as well as the one i was sent.
There is a blue box in the left upper corner on the old and
the new board has none??

O.K. on the new board where do i connect that there is nothing
there?
the wires are to short to go anywhere but that one
upper corner.

If all the fridg connectors are plugged in the right sockets,you are done. If you have anything left over, you should be able to see where it goes from your pictures.
