Help!! My Fridge Is Working Really Weird. It Is A Side By Side And The Top Shelves On Both Fridge Side And Freezer Side Are Not Cold Or Freezing. However The Closer You Get To The Bottom The Colder It Gets. On The Freezer Side The Top Shelf Is Cool, The Second Shelf Is Cold And From The Third Shelf Down Items Will Freeze. On The Fridge Side. The Top Shelf Is Warm But By Time You Get To The Bottom Crisper It Is Freezing The Items In The Drawer. I Have Checked The Coils And They Were Not That Dirty However I Still Blew Them Out To Get What Little Dust Was In There Out. I Have No Idea. Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated.

Remove the rear panel inside the freezer and check how the evaporator coils are covered with snow/frost. Post the results.

Gene, Thank you for the quick response. After I removed the back cover the coils were almost completely covered in snow. Even the screws at the bottom of the cover were frosted over.

You are welcome.

Does the fan inside the freezer work?

If it does not, perform the troubleshooting as described in one of our previous threads: http://forum.appliancepartspros...or-test-replacement.html

If it does work then there is a problem with the defrost. You can find more information here: http://forum.appliancepartspros...igerator-too-warm-3.html
