GE Profile refrigerator turns off
Model Number: psc23psta Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
Several times now, we discovered that the refrigerator turns itself off for apparantly no reason. The controll panel at the top of the refrigerator is completely blank and the lights are still working. Refrigerator turns on when changing the temperature and stays on for several days.
I replaced the control unit/card about two years ago when the fan in the freezer section stopped working properly. Ice was melting even though the freezer was still working. A Sears repairman told me the control unit needed to be replaced because the fan in the freezer was not cycling properly. Could the control unit need to be replaced again?
