Default Loose handle
Model Number: GS6SHEXNS00   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 1 - 5 years

Our handle is loose on the fresh food side of the side by side Whirlpool Refrigerator. The local appliance repairman did not know how to tighten the handle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Looking at the diagram I believe this is the type of handle you just take ahold of and slide it up.

It will then come off of the clips that are screwed to the refrigerator door.
You can then tighten the screws that hold the clips on the door and then slide the door handle back in place.

Default Loose refrigerator door handle

Did indeed lift it up and off but both ends were tight and secure and yet the handle is still loose and "jiggily".
