We bought a used sears freezer at a garage sale after our brand new freezer quit after 2 years. It has been working fine until the other day when I went out and defrosted it. The frost on it wasn't bad but when putting in a side of beef I want all the room I can get. Now it is all frosted again. Not just a little but a lot. It seems the top seal in not sealing. Normally a freezer door has like a suction and this one does not now. Do I need a new seal? Where can I get one? Can I do it myself? What has went wrong?

Take a dollar bill, put it between the gasket and the frame, close the lid and try to pull it out. If it just slips out then that is where you are leaking.
Do it all the way around the door.
Could be that you have to adjust the hinges.
Try a thin coat of white lithium grease or vaseline along the hinge side of the lid, could be the gasket is grabbing/curling now that it is nice and clean. The grease will help it slide and the seal.
Sorry could not find any info using the given part number, even tried the Sears site.
