This is a side by side. For a while it made a woooshing sound. Fridge was starting to freeze so turned down the the temp a notch or two. next day everything is warm. The fan in the freezer used to run all the time, now it is not. Sounds like the compressor is running and the bottom of the freezer is still frozen ,top is warm. A day passed and all of a sudden the fan was on and all got cold and frozen. 12 hours later, back to getting warm, no fan running. Also the freezer had been accumulating frost and ice in the top half.
Can you help me with this ? Thanks John

Update-
Since I posted this on the 25th things are the same. The fridge is at 43 degrees, the freezer is 60 at the top and 10 at the bottm. The timer seems to be working as well as the defroster becouse the temp at the bottom went up and then back down to 10 degrees or so if not lower a while later in the day. Does this mean the fan at the back of the freezer is bad?
