I recently had the defroster replaced in my fridge due to it freezing up however this did not solve the problem. It continues to freeze up, do you have any suggestions as to what the problem might be.

Pull off the motherboard cover in the back, unplug fridg and remove the 3 pin power connector. Observe which connector pins mate with the board pins labeled line and def. Put a wire jumper between these mating connector pins.Plug in fridg. If the fridg is cold, you should get defrost action. If so, replace the motherboard AP4436216, if it fails to defrost, you either have a bad defrost heater or defrost thermostat.
