Good Day, I have inherited a Sears Cold Spot side by side ice n water at the door model #1069542882 It is connected to a water line and I get water to the door. However, it does not make ice although the ice cutoff bar is in engage position. Apparently, same is not getting water. Please let me know the appropriate repair Thank you Kevin Blueye1965@aol.com

Kevin, Does the ice maker get water? If it does, then the ice maker itself is bad. If it does not, then locate the water inlet valve on the back of the refrigerator and swap the wires between the two solenoids. Depress the water dispenser release lever for a few seconds and check for water in the ice maker. If there is no water, replace the water inlet valve. If there is water, replace the ice maker. - The water inlet valve Part number: AP3103466
