HI,

So I have this fridge and I am wondering what parts I should purchase to fix this problem. The freezer freezer great most of the time, but sometimes for no reason at all it just wont for a few days. then it will. I notice it is more common when i am baking, and it is hot in the apartment, also I notice is also does it when I have the ice making machine on. It seems freezer cools refrigirator which for most time actually is not affected by this, but the food in the freezer is very much so. it has been doing it for about 2 years now. I appreciate any advice on this thanks!

First thing you need to do,

Remove the front kickplate grille and vacuum the lint and dust from the front of the condenser coil.

Move the refrigerator from the cabinet, unplug the power cord, remove the lower black,cardboard, compartment cover, and vacuum and clean all the components in the compartment area.

Make sure you remove or secure any thick carpets or throw rugs on the floor in front of the refrigerator.

When the air flow to the sealed system components are restricted or miss directed, the refrigerator will loose it's ability to transfer heat properly, and you will get an intermittent, poor cooling effect inside the refrigerator.

While you have the back off also check that the condenser/compressor fan is running when the compressor is running.
