Default Tension on Chest Freezer door
Model Number: 253,9183511   Brand: Kenmore   Age: 1 - 5 years   

I need to adjust the tension on Freezer lid. Will not stay up on it's own. Which screw do I turn, and what kind of screwdriver?

use a 1/2 inch deep socket, bolt will be found at the bottom of the hinges look in side you will find it. adjust clockwise.
