My 2005 DBL-side Energy Star Refrigerator has been in storage for 4 months (inside/protected). I recently brought it into the home and discovered that the water intake valve was cracked due (stemming from water within valve). While awaiting for the new part to be delivered, I powered up the unit on Sunday (3/1/09), the unit has not cooled at all.

This unit was in the upright positio at all times, does the water intake valve play a part in the unit cooling? Please advise.
