I found this thread on a Haier freezer and I am having the exact same problem I just want to identify the correct size replacement.

http://forum.appliancepartspros...-help-finding-parts.html

If you check the second to last post on the first page he says he solved the problem by installing a relay kit #AP3540659

When I found the part i noticed there are two sizes, one for a 1/12-1/5 HP compressor and one for a 1/4-1/3 HP compressor.

Can anyone help me size the compressor? I can't get any info from Haier and it doesn't say on the compressor. Here is the info I got off the compressor:

Zel GVT44AD 0436

TJ 8 117
10275102

It is a 7.0 cubic foot chest freezer. I appreciate the help.

I would not use this 3n 1 hard start device, will eventually damage your compressor and possibly cause a home fire!
If you have a meter, I can help you install the new start device.

First identify the pins. Top is common, usually the overload device plugs into it. Next measure ohms from that pin to one of the bottom pins. One will have a higher resistance than the other, that is the start pin, usually on the bottom left.
If so, then order AP3414961 start device, then klixon AP2061490 from this site.
Post when they come in.

Sorry, my mistake, the klixon is part AP2061490 (WR8X122).
