Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 2/22/2009(UTC) Posts: 3		My problem is like all the others in this thread, the freezer is fine, but the refrig is not. The defrost system is working as it should, no frost/ice buildup on the back panel, but I took off the back panel anyway to observe the frost/defrost cycle, which is working fine - so I assume it is operating properly. Also I put and HVAC thermostat in the freezer compartment, it read 30 degrees in less than 15 minutes. I've searched and searched, probably missed it somewhere, but how do I test the evaporator fan? Should it be running all the time? I don't want to spend time and money to troubleshoot by multiple parts swapping. Thanks for any assistance you can give. Darrell

They are wired in parallel. Could check it's resistance with a meter. Not sure what it should be but it should not be an open. Could also hook it up to a line cord and see if it runs

Thanks for your assistance. I'll post another response when I get the new fan installed. Darrell
