freezer blows cold then hot

Model Number: mtf1895aeq Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years

My freezer blows cold for a while and then a day or 2 later I feel hot heat coming off the back wall of the freezer. Then a day later it will cool again. Fridge seems fine. I checked the fan and compressor and they seem to run and make sure that there was no dust build up. Any help would be appreciated.
