We got a Samsung offered to us for cheap of course it doesn't work but
handy husband is willing to try to fix.
It was in a rental quit working, repair guy fixed but it only worked
another few days-- Landlord had to buy replacement
We have no idea what the symptoms where.
When we plugged it in it sounds like it wants to run but neither side is getting cold which from previous post if it was just the evap coil that would start working again.
I have a service manual, but when we tried to run the diagnostic it just goes blank no codes that we can tell.
We need to know if someone can give us a process of elimination
order of most likely kinda list.
Been to several sights, and have Ohm meter and hubby knows a bit about electricity.
Any help would be great.

Thanks,

You have to determine if the compressor is running.
You can usually hear it and it should be warm and you should be able to feel it vibrating.

If it is on and you do not get any cooling I would say that it is a seaaled system problem and you will need a pro to fix it.
Also it will be an expensive repair.

Hers are a couple sites with basic fridge repair info which you may find useful.
