My refrigerator is not coming on all the time. If i notice the ice is getting a bit melted in the freezer i open the refrigerator door and hit the top of the inside roof of the refrigerator. Right below the knobs that control the temp. this area houses the board and temp censor controls. It started out that the temp relay would be tripped from the temp censor but nothing would happen until i hit that part of the refrigerator. after time has gone by it is also not shutting off unless i make it shut of by turning the temp all the way down. It acts like i have a short but i can not find one. What part do you think is going out the temp censor or the small main broad?

Most likely the problem is a bad temperature control thermostat.
