can a person install an evap assy part#da96-00395c or do you have to have a teck do so do you have to do anything with freeon it keeps freezing over and i think to fix you have to do whole assy parts art sold seperately help please

Here are your parts Replacement parts for Samsung RS2544SL REF - SXS | AppliancePartsPros.comThe very bad news is that both evaporators with the built in heaters are no longer available. Also even if you could get one it requires that it be replaced by a pro so will be a very expensive repair. It makes more sense to put those dollars towards a new unit. You did not say what the actual problem/symptoms or what you have done to troubleshoot it so I cannot say if the evaporator coil assembly is your actual problem. Disconnect the defrost heater and measure it with a meter, should be around 20 to 100 ohms, I think (I cancot find a spec on it). |

the water will freez then on up the coils to the fan then the fridge dosen't get cool air and won't maintain temp only50-60 freezer fine we think its theevap sensor but you have to replace all to gether its all one part can get for $50 but i gess i have to hire someone to install its part @da96-oo395cevap assy
