I used these forums to help diagnose my malfunctioning ice maker (Kenmore Elite side-by-side, 106.53606202). The fill sensor passed all its tests and the ice tray will fill fine.

After using the jumper method to reset the position of the arms, my icemaker will basically get stuck with the arms partway to pushing the ice cubes out of the tray. So i'm guessing either the motor is dead or that the heater is not working anymore. I'd rather just replace the control/motor module if possible to save $; is there a way to diagnose if the tray heater is the possible problem? Is one issue more likely than the other?

Can you verify the right part numbers for my model (both module only and complete ice maker assembly).

Best Regards
