Model Number: pss25mgmb bb Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
my fridge and freezer stopped cooling so i took the back off and vacuumed the condensor, which looked like it has never been done, then i took off the motherboard cover and knew right away something was burnt, definatley there was a spot on the left side of the back that was burnt. what could have caused this i dont want to spend the money to replace if it just does it again. Thank you for your time

Most likely a power surge or a lightning strike. Happen to my frig also. Got a power surge arrestor for the electric panel. Hope it doesn't happen again. |
