This side-by-side will run just fine for about 6 weeks then it ceases to keep anything cold in either portion of it. When it's unplugged long enough, usually 6-8 hours, it will run just fine for about 6 weeks again. Any ideas, I can't find a defrost timer nor know where the adaptive defrost timer is?

Dennis,

There is no a classic defrost timer in this refrigerator. Instead it has an electronic adaptive defrost control board (#13 on the diagram).

Based on your report most likely this part is culprit.

- The ADC board Part number: AP4070403
