You may have a defective fill valve. But, if you wish, to adjust the water fill level, remove the white front cover from the ice maker, on the right side of the control head there will be a small white sloted stem about midway of the assembly, using a small blade screwdriver, if you turn the stem counterclockwise, that will decrease the water level, clockwisw will increase the water level, if you need more than 2 complete revolutions,to achieve the proper water level, and the fill valve is OK, you'll need a new icemaker or control module.
