Over the past couple of weeks I have noticed the fridge acting up. It all started when the power went out for a few hours. One day I noticed the ice looked deformed like it had melted & refroze. So I dumped it out. Next day full of ice & looked normal. 2-3 days later it does that again & the food in the freezer did not look very cold (food soft). So I raised the cold setting a little didn't make a difference. Would do this on & off for 2-3 days at a time.
*Checked*
-Cleaned the condensor coils underneath fridge. They were very dirty. Didn't make it any better.
-Checked the evap. inside freezer & doesn't have in ice build up at all
-Can move the cold settings sometimes to make compressor kick on & stay on for a little while. Still does same thing.
-All the fans are working like they should (noticed the compressor was hot to the touch but might be normal)

Any help would be great! Thanks in advance

Sounds like the problem is a bad electronic defrost control (#6 on the diagram).
