My Kenmore(LG) French Door bottom freezer fridge is 4 yrs old. Evidently the lights were on overnight and the plastic posts for mounting the case display bracket melted and left the display case dangling and the temp was 70F. The freezer was OK. After opening the doors three or four times, the lights went out and and the fridge has been working fine for the last two weeks. I manually operated the switches and they seem to be OK. Lights on, fan off. Lights off, fan on. I will need to replace the bracket and light sockets. Could the problem happen again? Could the problem be the switches, the display case the power control board, the main power control board, or something else?
