Model Number: TCS18PADBLBS Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a bottom freezer model. Temps in both fridge & freezer seems fine but I am leaking water through the top of my freezer. It forms an ice flow in the freezer which every 2-3 weeks I have to get rid of. From reading the forum I think I have the clogged drain tube issue.
How do I access the drain tube/drain plug to see if its clogged? Do I remove the panel at the bottom of the refrigerator compartment (four screws) or do I remove the panel at the top of the freezer compartment? I do not appear to have access to anything through the back of the unit as it appears to be sealed. It looks like the only two panels that possibly can be removed are inside of the unit. One at the bottom/floor of the refrigerator (on top) and the other a panel that forms the top/roof of the freezer. Ads By Google Related Models |
