I need a tech sheet for a Kitchenaid KSRF26DTAL00 and the wiring diagram. There is a non connected ground wire and cannot find where it goes.

I do not think either of the documents will tell you where it goes.
Where does it come from? Where is the unit is it?
If it is down by the compressor and is attached to the frame then odds are it attaches to the compressor. |

A service person installed a defrost timer about 3 weeks ago. Then the freezer iced up and the fridge did not get cold. So I manual put in defrost cycle which helped the problem. I iced up again. Ordered a new defrost timer my self and found the loose ground wire. Is it possible that the original timer needed and ground wire and the new timer did not need the ground and the lead was not sealed properly.

Sorry but I do not know about the old defrost timer.
It does look like this defrost timer is mounted on a metal plate so if the ground wire has a female spade connector on the end take a look at the back of this plate for the male connector. Often they ground plates this way and when you pull the plate out the wire is pulled off. |

Is there any way I could get a tech sheet or wiring diagram to make sure I installed the defrost timer correctly?

Looks like your timer would be a Cumulative Version 1 hook up.
Note that this only applies to this timer and I do not know what timer you purchased. |
