I moved and cut the tube to the refrigerator in order for the movers to take the fridge, but how do I now reconnect the water line to get water and get the icemaker to work?

That depends on where you cut it.

I cut it and it leaked water because I didn't turn off the water line, but there was a metal piece at the end of the tube that I had cut too, can I reuse and reconnect the icemaker with the same tube?
