Hi I have a GE GSS22JEPAWW that went into defrost or something stopped working. The compressor is still working and i think I've narrowed it to one of these 4 parts. - The part number for the main control board is AP3950129
- The part number for the freezer thermistor is AP3185407
- The part number for the defrost heater is AP3183868
- The part number for the defrost thermostat is AP3884317 Which is the most logical to start with? Thanks

I would first verify the compressor is running, it should vibrate and the condenser tubing should be hot.

I turned it off completely for 24 hours then turned it back on. It's working again now. It is vibrating a little bit and the tubing is hot. Of course I'm nervous to put anything back in it. Does that help you narrow it down at all?

It may have hung up in defrost, so I would check the evaporator thermistor, a white narrow plastic item clipped to the top of the evaporator. If immersed in ice water, it should read 16.3 k ohm. If ok, I would pull the motherboard in the back and check for bad solder joints at the big power relay. If ok, probably a bad motherboard AP4436216
