I have a side by side Whirlpool refridgerator. The coils freeze up on me every couple of weeks. I purchased the defrost sensor and that did not help; I purchased a Defrost Timer but I can not locate it?? Can anyone help me with this so I can try to get this fixed without having to buy a new fridge. I'm wondering if the new part is different that what I have? Any help would be greatly appreciated.:)

Not sure what a defrost sensor is?

You do not have a defrost timer.
The unit has an adaptive defrost board (Item 6 in Section10).
